Material: decoration
Materials have two decoration types: Outline and Shadow. Use Outline to emphasize the outside of a material, and Shadow when you want it to look raised.
What you can do on this page
You can add Outline outside the material and Shadow to the material. Line and Background are not used for materials.
Operating procedure

Select a material
Select the material layer you want to decorate.

Open the “Decoration” tab
Open the Decoration tab for materials.

Add Outline or Shadow
Choose Outline or Shadow from “+ Add decoration.”

Adjust details
For Outline, you can adjust color, thickness, and Connect outlines with the same color. For Shadow, adjust color, position, and blur.

Check placement
If it looks larger after decoration, adjust its position in the Position tab.

| Outline | Adds Outline outside the material. You can adjust color, thickness, and Connect outlines with the same color. Thickness can be adjusted from 1 to 300. When multiple outlines exist, only the outermost outline is affected. |
| Shadow | Adds Shadow to the material. You can adjust color, horizontal position, vertical position, and blur. |
Check points
- Material decoration supports only Outline and Shadow.
- Text Line and Background are not shown in the material Decoration menu.
- Thicker Outline expands outside the material.
- When multiple materials, text, or images are close together, “Connect outlines with the same color” can make overlapping outlines look natural.
When you are in trouble
If decoration makes the material look too heavy, reduce the Outline thickness or Shadow blur.
