tabs and layers
The top tabs are where you switch between the text, materials, and images in your design. The settings shown on the right change depending on the selected tab.
What you can do on this page
You can check how to switch the content you are editing with tabs, duplicate or delete the selected tab, and understand how tab order relates to layer stacking.
Operating procedure
-
Click the tab you want to edit
When you add text, a material, or an image, a tab is added at the top. Click a tab to select that content and switch the settings on the right.
-
Edit the selected tab
Text tabs show text input and text settings. Material and image tabs show settings such as color, shape, and size.
-
Add another copy of the same content
From the “+” in the editing tools on the right, choose “Duplicate current tab” to create another copy of the selected tab.
-
Delete an unnecessary tab
Click the “×” shown on the selected tab to delete it. If you delete it by mistake, you can undo the action.
-
Change the order
Drag tabs to change their order. To fine-tune what appears in front or behind, also check the “Layers” page.

Check points
- Before changing settings, make sure the intended tab is selected.
- The displayed settings change depending on the type of selected tab.
- When the cursor is in a text input field, typing text takes priority over shortcuts.
- A duplicated tab may appear directly on top of the original. Move it slightly in Position to make it easier to see.
- Use the “Layers” tab when you want to check the stacking order in a list.
When you are in trouble
If settings are not applied to the content you want to change, check whether another tab is selected. When there are many tabs, choose from the list in the “Layers” tab to find it more easily.
