Material: basic settings

In the material Basic tab, you can adjust the material color, line, corner radius, and size. Choose the color first, then adjust width and height as needed.

What you can do on this page

You can adjust material fill, line, corner radius, linked width and height, width, and height. Depending on the material, you may be able to change colors inside the material individually.

Operating procedure

  1. Select a material

    Click the material in the preview or choose the material layer from the Layers tab.

  2. Open the “Basic” tab

    When you select a material, settings for adjusting color, line, and size are shown.

  3. Choose fill

    Choose from solid color, Gradient, or None to adjust the material color.

  4. Adjust line and corner radius

    Adjust line color, line style, line thickness, and corner radius as needed. For line-only materials, Fill is not shown.

  5. Change colors inside the material

    Click rows such as “Color 1” or “Color 2” under “Material colors” to open the color palette, then choose a solid color or Gradient.

  6. Decide whether to link width and height

    Turn it on to keep the aspect ratio, or turn it off to stretch freely.

  7. Adjust width and height

    Adjust width and height while checking the preview.

List of setting items

ItemDescription
Fill Set the material color from solid color, Gradient, or None.
Material colors Click rows such as “Color 1” or “Color 2” to open the color palette, then choose a solid color or Gradient for each color inside the material.
Line Sets the material line color.
Line style Choose from Solid, Dashed, or Dotted.
Line thickness Adjust line thickness from 0% to 50%. At 0%, the line is hidden.
Corner radius Adjusts the material corner radius from 0% to 100%.
Shape Use the “Change” button to replace it with another material and change the shape.
Link width and height When turned on, resizing keeps the width-to-height ratio.
Width Adjusts the material width.
Height Adjusts the material height.
Change Replaces it with another material.

Check points

  • Turning on linked width and height lets you resize the material without distorting its shape.
  • Depending on the material, changes to Fill or Line may be hard to see.
  • For materials with a fixed corner shape, corner radius adjustment is not shown.
  • Choosing “None” makes that color transparent. To hide a line, set line thickness to 0%.
  • “Material colors” is shown only when the selected material supports color changes.
  • You can also adjust direction with the rotation handle on the canvas.

When you are in trouble

If a material becomes stretched horizontally or vertically, turn on linked width and height, then adjust the size again.
